Life Ministries is an evangelistic association made
up of men and women from all walks of life, working together with one common
goal – reaching people within their own communities with the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. Our interests are not to try and persuade people to attend church
(though we do believe all born-again believers ought to have a desire to
become an active part of a local body of believers of like faith), but to share
with all people everywhere the free gift of salvation made available only
through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus died on the Cross of Calvary for our sins, that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures, that He is gone on to sit at the right hand of the throne of God to make intercession for us, that He will return one day as promised to receive His Bride (those who believe in Him) and that without Him there is no hope of eternal life. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." --
Acts 4:12
This ministry is founded upon God’s own Word which says in Isaiah 55:11, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
We believe that if we will do our part in taking His Word out to those who otherwise won’t hear, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” then He will do His part by drawing all
men unto Himself. Though we have retired our old 1950 Chevy grain truck that God provided for that purpose in 2002, we are still doing our part, believing that He will give the increase.
As of December 2009, Life Ministries has begun undergoing a transformation from a ministry that predominantly provided preaching and singing at different venues to a ministry that first meets the physical needs of the people to whom we wish to minister so that they may experience firsthand the love of Christ freely given to anyone who will trust Him. Donations go toward helping those in need while providing a copy of the Word of God, the Holy Bible, as well as literature explaining the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ placed in the boxes we deliver along with the food, toiletries, etc. We are still available for revival services, fundraisers, etc., but our main focus when leading worship services, besides of course teaching His Word and winning souls to Christ, will be to raise awareness about this ministry and allow the opportunity for fellow Christians to help those in need in their own communities.
